Edgar is inspired by a portrait of Arthur Rimbaud. It is a work that approaches the portrait from the inner sensation. There is a flow of the body towards space through the red filaments, linking the internal perception of the character to his surroundings. Yet Edgar does not notice that he is evaporating outwards, except that he seems hypnotized, his gaze frozen in space. It is a projection of our perception. Perception of the world which contaminates it and locks us in this understanding.
